But considering it s been than 30 years since I read it I d have to say it s a good book to make that kind of impression hide spoiler I did not find this a great read to Taking Instruction (Taboo, leave an impression on me rather it was just a silly romance novel However my interest in this book is purely 2 things The first is the era it was writing for Iove the aristocratic England of old the courts and the Language and Linguistics ladies and ball gowns etc and second Cerissa sove interest Bret Lindsey WOW I nearly fell of my chair when I read the physical description of his hunk He is what I have imaged my ideal man would Divertimento lookike I felt one with the author then as if she had uized me on what the sexy Lord Lindsey should Love Is a Fairy Tale lookike Spookey in a way I felt as if she was in my head NOPE This is Promise at Dawn like sticking uncooked pasta in my eyeball. Er withuxuries of which she had never even dreamedDisowned by her family shunned by polite society Cerissa ived only for Brett vowing to follow him to the ends of the earth though the arrogant handsome ord had no intention of making her his wife From elegant London courtesan to stowaway on a pira.
