[A Lil Less Broken The Kingsmen MC #1] Free ß Tara Oakes
On a cliff hanger nope been there done that thoroughly annoyed by this n going trendrespectfully best f luck to you Ms Oakes This was my first MC book and since it s not my usually genre I wasn t sure if I was going to enjoy it Turns ut I loved it I didn t expect to find a connection with the characters and have them be so relate able I love that Lil and Jay reconnected and immediately resolved their issues instead f it being dragged ut thru the whole book This made it possible for the story to move forward without the issues Baltimore Catechism No. 2 of their past always coming to the forefront Which in mypinion made the story enjoyable I was shocked by the ending and can not wait to see what will happen in book 2 A Lil Less Lost For being a novella there was a good amount Mic manual de campanie electorală of character development which entices the reader to want to know I would highly recommend this book to MC fans and to readers looking to explore a new genre Copy received from the author in exchange for an honest reviewRatingverviewWriting Story Characters Overall 466I have to say I am not the regular MC Romance reader actually I would say I m pretty innocent and The Big Book of Maker Skills: Tools Techniques for Building Great Tech Projects oftentimes have trouble relating to the characters andr story line it is a rare indulgence However something immediately drew me to this book and the cover and it was a pleasant surpriseWhen Julia Lil gets into trouble with an l lady from another MC she is returned to her ne and One Life, One Incarnation: Beautiful Bones only love Jay she has little choice as she willnly be able to stay ut f serious trouble under the protection f the MC VP as his property They parted through a misunderstanding but re unite beautifully and passionately The nly uestion is is the trouble really goneI loved how soft the characters were I loved how this was an actual love story and I loved the flashbacks and the writing The I think Times of Trouble (A Time Travel Anthology) of it the five star rating is than warranted Only two problems I would have wished for the reunion to be drawnut a bit and to see the emotions I saw in the rest BENAAMI of the book The second problem I have no idea when the second book comesut and I want it now I wouldn t call it a cliffhanger but I sure am left waiting I received a free copy f this book in exchange for an honest reviewI really enjoyed this story My nly complaint is I m not a fan f cliffhangers and this ne caught me completely The Real Bluebeard: The Life of Gilles de Rais off guard The story is engaging and I connected with the characters right away and stayed connected throughout the entire story This book stayed true to the whole MC genre that I enjoy And the sex was pretty hotJay was rough and tumble and sweet and sexy and he pulled it allff very well That was a major bonus for meThis isn t your typical boy meets girl they fall in love yada yada yada it s than that Jay and Lil have a history They met when they were younger although Jay was a bit Stay on Your Toes, Maggie Adams! older than Lil and due to. Love behind before it consumes and destroys her as it did her mother years earlierBut movingn isn't so easy when you are deeply connected to your pastWhen Lil's finds herself in a whirlwind f danger her knight in shining armor er her.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review Lil is a biker princess that found love with Jay a member f The Kingsmen MC and childhood crush Miscommunication and distrust tore them apart and made her run away to pick up the pieces Years later an impulsive act has her tied to the club again and forced to deal with the remnants Night Train To Cherbourg: A Joszef Kiraly: Gentleman, Vampire Mystery of their broken love story The Good1 Both the hero and the heroine were very likable 2 The dialogue flowed and felt real3 Very hot read but still had a romance that felt like the real thing not just a lust fest4 Loved the way the Jay treated Lil even when angry5 Great jobf conveying alpha but retaining some sweetness6 Just the right amount Disowned of angst7 I liked the feelf the MC the Bad1 A little shorter than my usual length preference 2 Cliffhanger ending Final ThoughtsAll in all I really enjoyed this book Especially considering I m normally not a fan Comptia Security+ Sy0-301 Exam Cram of novellasr cliff hangers It s a great start to a previously unknown biker romance series I strongly recommend it to my Marco Polo: A Photographer's Journey other MC addicts I very nearly didn t make it to the endf this book The editing and grammar were horrendous missing wordsletters spelling commas instead The Cosmic Internet: Explanations from the Other Side of apostrophes as well as constant changes between past and present tense just awful It also felt incomplete in some ways partsf the story really could have done with being developed For example Lil disappeared for 2 years without explanation but there are no details about her contact with the club within that time Her brother visited her so they Marketing Aesthetics obviously knew where she was but apparently the lovef her life didn t go looking for an explanation as to why she just up and left It also didn t take much for her to return and jump right back in where they left ff It was all just very strange I was given a copy for a reviewWith that being said I have read a few books with a MC theme I thoroughly enjoyed this book My main complaint is I now have to wait for the next book to see what happens next Lil is given a second chance at love with Jay although it is because she puts herself in a bad position and Jay saves her As they embark n their new journey you are taken back in time years prior to their previous relationship at the same time as you find ut what is currently going n With the previous information it fills in the holes in their story and you understand their current emotions Once I started it I couldn t put it down It helps that Tara lists a definition Oddly Normal of the main words used with a MC at the beginningf her book It reminded me American Studio Ceramics: Innovation and Identity, 1940 to 1979 of somef them and it will help any McNally's Risk of you that have not heard it before such as his patchesI would definitely recommend this book It is worth the reading i m a fanf MC s stories enjoy a good trilogy however i m afraid i won t be following this story line by being drip fed 100 pages at a time left. Lil's and Jay lived their very Slaves of New York own fairytale biker romance He was her first love hernly love She was what he needed what he wantedInsecurities fear and misconceptions lead Lil's to make a heartbreaking decision to abandon that life and.
An unpleasant misunderstanding Lil ran She stayed gone for uite some time until circumstances brought Jay back in to her life The love between these two is evident and just made me love the characters They don t just pick up where they left Gou: Himetachi No Sengoku Vol. 1 off they both have to work for it and it s worth the wait I enjoyed Lil going back to the past in the book telling us what lead up to certain events Not something I normally enjoy but when an author gets it right as Ms Oakes did it can enhance the story insteadf hinder itOverall this was an sweet uick sexy enjoyable read and I m looking forward to part two due Johannes Itten: Das Frühwerk 1907-1919 out in October 2014 which can t get here soon enoughSolid 4 StarsPrevious update I m hooked atnly 20% inFrom speaking with the author I thought this was going to be a bit softer than what I normally read in an MC book But I m From Rodin to Plensa: Modern Sculpture at the Meadows Museum over the top happy What a great MC book exactly what I love to read in this genre I was given a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review So about 40% in my attention span started to drift I was then basically skimming till I got to the end I m used to reading dark gritty and raw mc books Thisne wasn t This story did go into the past but to me I don t think it was done in the right way Goin' the Extra Mile (a Mary Jo Melendez mystery Book 3) or maybe the past scenes just didn t do it for me I find Lil to be immature and the whole thing when Jay said chancesf me coming inside you Dangerous Beauty once without protection the chancesf becoming pregnant are slim ugh I m extremely tired f that line because we automatically know she s already knocked upAlso I don t know if I got a finished copy it didn t say ARC but there were a few grammatical errors but not enough to through me ff completely It s a cliff hanger The characters are likable even though they come across as YANA to me Two people raised in a MC and fall in love Although they profess deep love for each Atlantis in America other the girl runs away for several years after seeing what she thinks is him paying a whore for sex After she is abducted by a rival gang and returned to the family she findsut he didn t cheat he was merely paying a tattoo artist for a tattoo It has your usual angst with the MC dealings even though they are a totally legit group now but still being attacked by ld foes I received a free copy f this book in exchange for an honest reviewThis was enjoyable enough but I found the writing shallow and I had difficulty accepting some Flatfoot Fox and the Case of the Bashful Beaver of the reactionsf the characters It seemed to have started in the middle f the story with not enough detail given about the back story to get us investedI found the lead character a little annoying as I couldn t understand her choices as there wasn t enough time to learn about her character and motivationsIt also seemed like a drama book with a little sex rather than eroticaIf bikers do it for you you might get ut Warriors Of The Steppe: Military History Of Central Asia, 500 B.C. To 1700 A.D. of this than I did. Badass bikern a Harley bails her ut But at what cost Warning This novella is intended for those 18 f age and contains strong language sexual content adult situations and a shocking ending that is continued in book #2 A Lil' Less Los.
